We all know these are difficult days and there is no much money left for holidays and leisure in our pockets. So we have to find cheap alternatives - either that or stay at home and don't go any where. If you are thinking of going to Cuba on Holidays then I am going to give you a hint on how to cut down on the cost. You can find hotels for as cheap as $14.00 per person per night in Cuba. As I mentioned before there are not many of these hotels and because they are so cheap they are fully booked all year round. You can find more info on cheap hotels in Cuba on http://www.qassia.com/the-cheapest-hotels-in-havana. Ok now we know how difficult is to find this hotels. What is left then is something called Casas Particulares. These are private houses in Cuba that rent 1 or 2 rooms at around $30.00 per room per night. Noticed that I said per room if to people are sharing a room it works at $15.00 per person per night. If you are from UK then it works at around 8.00 pounds per person per night. Cheap isn't it. Although it is very cheap there are few things you should know before you book on of this houses or apartments in Cuba. The government has given a license to the landlords that want to rent their houses with few conditions and limitations. Tourists are allowed in Casas Particulares as long as they share the house with the Cuban family. There are limitations in terms of how many rooms a landlord can rent and how many passengers on each room. What I a trying to make you understand here is that you have to be willing to stay with a Cuban family and share its dinning room, balconies, porches and chat to them. If you want total independence you might not be able to find it on a Casa particular. There is a way though to get to stay on a private house on your own without having to share with a Cuban family. There are few options available mainly in Havana. The problem is that you are not going to find landlords advertising their rentals on the web on an independent basis because it is illegal. In this case what you should do is to get in touch directly with them and negotiate the terms of your accommodation. Advertise in this article
